Introduction of Laminate Flooring

        Laminate is made by wood powder with high pressure compressed treatment, except for the brands of Aqua Step, Krono Step’s All Weather. Laminate is combined with a lot of different layers—Wear layer, Film layer, High Density Fibre (HDF), Bottom layer (usually come out with HDF). Although the stability is not as good as Engineering Floor, Laminate would not appear or reveal gap due to the temperature difference. And it would not be tilting or pop up. And it would not be swelling due to high humidity. Laminate is usually has high wear resistance feature than the engineering floor. It would not be stain on the flooring with coffee or red wine. Certificate is provided.

         We sale the Laminate flooring including thickness with 8mm, 10mm, 12mm. For the higher thickness has the better performance due to the temperature difference. Therefore, I recommend you to use 12mm thickness flooring for self-domestic use or self-commercial use.

         For the disadvantage of Laminate flooring, because it is a fake wood, so it would not have the same quality as the real wood.

        For installation, we have Floating installation and Nail System. For Floating installation, firstly, we would pave the foam sheet on the ground. And then we would pave the planks on top of it. They would have the lock to join together. Floating installation is usually applied on the Laminate Flooring. Sometime the ground is too deep so that we would install a plywood layer in order to left up the ground level. However, Laminate flooring would not use nail to install the flooring, because it may burst apart or crack.

• Wear Resistant is AC6, which is Abrasion Criteria, and it is the best among the different Laminate. (The higher the number, the better function of the wear resistance. Usually the wear resistant is AC4 for common Laminate.
